Our Frequently Asked Questions page provides the answers to all of your most important skin tightening, body sculpting and fat freezing treatment questions. If you can't find the answer here, please contact us.

The therapeutic principles applied in our 4D-Cryo Cryogenic Lipolysis treatments are proven and we have a long list of successfully treated and very happy clients. However, there are a number of factors outside of our control such as lifestyle, diet, underlying medical conditions (not known or disclosed), pregnancy and physical injury, that mean we are not able to provide absolute guarantees regarding the final results that you will achieve.

Nevertheless, we always provide treatments according to our proven protocols and take all appropriate steps to ensure your treatments are conducted successfully and you are position to achieve optimal results from every treatment.

Yes. We specialise in only non-invasive therapies and procedures. We do not use any needles or scalpels and only offer treatments that are proven to be completely safe.

Whilst it is considered generally very low risk and non-invasive, any treatment carries with it some level of risk of potential side effects, which you should consider before electing to undergo treatment. The new 4D-Cryo does NOT use vacuum, there is no bruising, however the most common side effects of 4D-Cryo combined Cryogenic Lipolysis and EMS treatments are :-

  • Mild oedema or redness
  • Tingling or numbness
  • Inflammation or swelling
  • Loose bowel or runny stools

Very rare side effects would include :-

  • Freezer burn to the surface of the skin
  • Permanent loss of sensation on the surface of the skin
  • Bruising and tenderness

We are aware of reports that, in very rare cases, there have been recorded incidents of less than 1 in 20,000 people treated with generic Cryogenic Lipolysis (such as CoolSculpting), resulting in an increase in the size or number of fat cells, a condition known as “Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia”.  As the 4D-Cryo uses flat plates, so there is no vacuum, alongside EMS, the temperatures used to achieve the therapeutic objective are higher (warmer) than traditional vacuum-based Cryogenic Lipolysis treatments, reducing the risk of side effects.  To date, there have been no reported cases of “Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia” occurring as a result of treatment with the 4D-Cryo platform, but this is a recognised risk of any Cryogenic Lipolysis treatment, which you must consider when choosing the treatment that best suits your needs.

Unfortunately, although the PureGenex platforms we use are optimised for client results, whilst taking all possible precautions to maintain safety, there is no such thing as an entirely risk free treatment, so you must take this into account when considering any treatment.  Final results can never be guaranteed, as individuals can react differently to treatment and there are external factors that can affect the outcome of treatment.

As the new 4D-Cryo does NOT use vacuum, there is no bruising, however in rare circumstances clients can suffer mild oedema, tingling sensations, or numbness in the treatment area. This is temporary and will subside naturally, normally within a few hours of treatment, but in all cases within 7-10 days.

If you have any of the following conditions, you would not be suitable for 4D-Body+ Pressotherapy treatment :- • Pregnancy and breastfeeding • Endocrine diseases • Heart diseases • Skin diseases • Diseases of liver and kidney (stone disease, etc.) • Presence of Pain or Numbness • Tuberculosis • Pacemakers and defibrillators • Severe Inflammation, or current infections in areas to treated • Cancer • High Fever • Metal pins and plates • Recent Surgery • Epilepsy • High Blood Pressure (or taking medication to lower blood pressure) • DVT • Diabetes (uncontrolled)

No. As of October 2010, new guidelines published by the C&QC state that clinics offering treatments using Cold Light Class 3B laser equipment DO NOT NEED to be registered. Given the significant cost of registration and on-going maintenance of this position, we have followed this guidance, allowing us to pass on lower costs to you. However, this does not mean we do not follow industry best practice in all areas of your treatments and care. You are the customer and you are our priority!

If you are a healthy adult, over the age of 18 and capable of performing a little regular exercise, to burn off the “fuel” released by the treatments, the answer is usually a resounding “YES”!!!

The following medical conditions will mean we CANNOT treat you with our pioneering Cavitation and Vacuum RF treatments, including the Brazilian Bum Lift, Cellulite Reduction and 4D-Cavi Inch Loss . This is in the best interest of your health and to ensure there are no complications with your condition, so please don’t be offended if we are unable to treat you as a result of one of these conditions being present :-

  • Pacemaker or internal defibrillator
  • Superficial metal or other implants in the treatment area, such as dental crowns, bridges, pins or plates.
  • Any form of prosthesis, replacement joint or metal plates in the treated area (e.g. upper leg prosthesis, replacement hip, etc.)
  • Current or history of skin cancer, as well as any other type of cancer, or pre malignant moles.
  • Pregnancy and nursing.
  • Impaired immune system, such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immuno-suppressive medications.
  • Diseases which may be stimulated by light at the wavelengths used, such as history of Systemic Lupus, Erythematosus, Porphyria and Epilepsy.
  • A history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent Herpes Simplex in the treatment area, may be treated only following a prophylactic regime.
  • Varicosity in the treatment area, or surrounding areas, suffering from haemophilia, or susceptible to severe bruising
  • Poorly controlled endocrine disorders, such as diabetes or Poly-Cystic Ovary.
  • Any active condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema or undiagnosed rashes.
  • Facial laser resurfacing and deep chemical peeling, Botox or fillers within the last 3 months, especially if face is treated.
  • Any surgical procedure in the treatment area within the last 3 months or before complete healing.

This treatment works best for angry, red stretch marks, that are the bane of many people's world, robbing them of self-confidence. This treatment applies radio frequency to re-structure and re-organise the collagen fibres in and around the stretch marks, lessening the redness, softening the appearance and turning them from angry red stretch marks, to far lighter, silvery lines that are far less noticeable.

  • Patients with varicosity in the treatment area, or surrounding areas
  • Serious heart disease or the blood pressure of the patients with hypertension (≥140/90mmHg)
  • Patients with a history of paralysis or stroke
  • Patients with artificial bones, silicosis, metal implants or prosthesis in the area of treatment
  • Patients with peripheral nervous disease, diabetes (Type 1), or connective tissue diseases
  • Pregnant or nursing women (until after 12 week post-natal check)
  • Malignant tumours

If you suffer from any of the following conditions, we CAN treat you (with a signed disclaimer), but would strongly recommend you consult with your GP, or consultant physician, before commencing treatment :-

  • Patients with abnormal blood coagulation or undertaking anti-coagulant therapy
  • Patients with peripheral nervous disease, diabetes (Type 1), or connective tissue diseases
  • Pregnant or nursing women (until after 12 week post-natal check)

Unfortunately, to ensure complete privacy for our clients, our treatment room is setup to ensure we provide an environment conducive to privacy and total safety. As such, we do not provide facilities for friends / family members to be present in the treatment room during the consultation or treatments. For those who are not able to, or simply do not enjoy "normal exercise, We recommend vibration plate-based exercise as a low impact method of increasing your heart rate and rapidly burning calories (fuel). You must exercise for at least 30 minutes between each of your 4D Cavi Ultrasonic Inch Loss treatments to ensure you achieve optimal results.

We will provide access to a power plate as part of your treatment, but additional exercise will improve your results further.

Unlike ALL other inch loss treatments, the unique combined Thermal Shock and EMS approach, which delivers far better results than traditional fat freezing, of the 4D-Cryo treatments causes the destruction of the fat cells without the need to exercise! Of course, if you want to achieve even better results AND be assured that you will retain your amazing new appearance, small amounts of regular exercise and a healthy diet are always strongly recommended.

Most patients find the Radio Frequency treatments extremely comfortable and liken them to a warm deep tissue massage. The treatments are customised to accommodate your sensitivity and comfort level, which will be closely monitored by the technician throughout the treatment. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours post treatment. Your skin may also appear redder than usual for several hours, but this subsides very quickly.

No, and anyone that does is not being honest with you about how the treatments work. Results can vary and there are many factors that effect the results achieved by each individual customer, including but not limited to lifestyle, age, diet, etc. As such, we are not able to provide guaranteed results. We will commit to engaging with you as a customer to achieve the best results possible in your given situation.
